HARRISON TWP -- The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating a home invasion that happened early Monday morning.
Police were called to a home in the 5000 block of Heather Hollow Drive in Harrison Township. They say the homeowner was duct taped. It's unknown how many people were involved in the robbery at this time.
The victim was later released so he could open a safe. We're told an ipad, cell phone, and under $100 were stolen.
Shortly after, sheriff's deputies surrounded a room at the America's Best Value Inn on Main Street in Englewood. They wouldn't say exactly why they staged there, but they soon left and headed to the Tim Hortons just down the road.
That's where they arrested a man who they say is a possible suspect in the home invasion on Heather Hollow Drive. The victim was not injured and the incident remains under investigation.
