BEAVERCREEK -- Two woman are suspected of stealing a purse containing bank cards from a Thanksgiving Day shopper at Meijer.
According to Beavercreek Police, the female victim was approached by two white female suspects and distracted by one of them while the other stole her purse from the shopping cart.
The victim later realized her purse was missing and alerted store security. Police said the suspect who distracted the victim is described as a white female, wearing all black. The suspect who stole the purse is described as a white woman wearing a yellow shirt. Both appeared to be in their mid-30s. They left Meijer in a late model blue Dodge Durango vehicle.
The victimâs bank cards were used that evening at various businesses in Huber Heights, including Walmart, where surveillance images show one of the suspects using the stolen card.
Police said these suspects may be involved in other similar thefts in Dayton. Anybody with information about the suspects or suspect vehicle is asked to call the Beavercreek Police Department Tip Line at 937-320-7393.
