DAYTON -- The driver of a car near the University of Dayton loses control and runs into a campus house. Witnesses told police that the car suffered a flat tire and then lost control.
The car then hit the side of a house on Irving Avenue, the impact ripping open the side of the vehicle. One of the students who lives in the house told us he found out about it when someone texted him a picture.
"Someone sent me a picture and said there's a car in our front yard and I thought someone was parked in our front yard,'' Sean Sward, a UD senior told us, ''and I came home and looked out the front door and the car destroyed the whole front or our porch and the whole side of the car was blown up."
The driver of the car will be cited for failure to control.
