FLORENCE, KY -- A five year old boy is fighting for his life after being rescued from a submerged car.
It happened around 6pm Friday in Florence, Kentucky. Rescue crews were called in after a car rolled into a retention pond. It appears the five year old, his sister and a dog were in the car waiting to go somewhere, when the car started rolling and ended up in the water. The girl and the dog were able to escape the vehicle.
The boy did not get out, and was trapped in the car for about 30 minutes before crews could rescue him. He was rushed to Cincinnati Children's Hospital where his condition is unknown.
