HUBER HEIGHTS -- The sound of music will soon be coming to Huber Heights! Thursday night city council unanimously voted to move forward with plans for a new music center.
The $18-million dollar complex will be off of I-70 across from the Meijer, as part of the new "Heights Development".
"With this people will take notice. We want people in the Northern communities to know they have amenities too," said Scott Falkowski, Asst. City Manager, "We can make this one of the best facilities in the area and we know we will be able to do it."
The project is still in the design phase. The city hopes to break ground this summer, and plans to stage the first concert in the Summer of 2014.
