CENTERVILLE -- Savona Restaurant and Wine Bar will have to close its doors for a few weeks for renovations, according the owner.
Thursday afternoon a car, driven by a 17 year old female, slammed into the side of the restaurant and left a large hole.
The owner of the restaurant, Keith Taylor, says after talking with building inspectors and his insurance company they had to close for repairs.
Taylor said on top the structural damage, the restaurant is covered in dust.
He also said his employees are covered by the insurance and will not lose wages during construction.
The driver was cited for "failure to yield from a private driveway".

The girl was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Luckily, the crash happened an hour before they opened.
We talked to the owner who was inside with his employees preparing the food to open for the night.
"There was this loud crash, it shook the whole building. I didn't know what was going on so I came out to the dining room; first, I thought the ceiling collapsed but then noticed a car," said Keith Taylor.
