PLEASANT TWP. -- Clark County Sheriff's deputies, who were investigating an unruly juvenile call, uncovered what they called "another incident more serious in nature."
The juvenile, who was not identified, had left her residence but was found by deputies at her older sister's residence. She told deputies she was the victim of a sexual assault that occurred almost a year ago.
Deputies said they then obtained evidence and an arrest warrant for Earrol David Morefield, 52, of Mechanicsburg.
U.S. Marshals and the SOFAST task force found and arrested Morefield today, and he now faces a sexual battery charge. He is currently in the Clark County Jail.
