COLUMBUS -- Senator Rob Portman's stance on gun background checks has some mothers angry and demanding change.
Friday, a group of women called "Moms Demand Action" rallied in downtown Columbus demanding action for stricter gun laws.
Senator Portman voted against expanding background checks for gun show purchases and online.
"I've said many times,'' Julie Eichorn, one of the protesting moms told us, "'if we can't get things accomplished in this Senate session then we're going to have to vote some senators into time out."
Organizers claim 83% of Ohioans favor tougher gun legislation.
