DAYTON -- A little girl is fighting for her life after being diagnosed with a very rare disease.
Bailey Stager's was 15 months old when her mother took her to the hospital last October with a fever of 107 degrees.
Shortly after, Kristy Stager learned her daughter had an infection on her brain. As a result, she suffered serious brain damage. Bailey is just under 2-years-old now.
This Saturday there will be a fundraiser to help pay for Bailey's mounting medical bills and continued treatment.
"I think it's just wonderful the way that, you know, friends, and family, and perfect strangers we don't know have offered to do what they can do to help support Bailey and her needs," says Kristy.
If you would like to contribute to help Bailey's family the Bikers of Forgotten Smiles is hosting a poker run this weekend at Two Bobs Inn on Germantown Pike at 11 a.m.
Two Nashville recording artists will be performing at the event and tickets range from $5 to $20.
