COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Attorneys for three women held captive in a Cleveland home for a decade say they're letting the judicial process unfold following the indictment of the man accused of kidnapping them.
The brief statement from the lawyers came Friday after a Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH'-guh) County grand jury returned a 329-count indictment against Ariel Castro.
Castro is charged with two counts of aggravated murder related to the termination of one of the women's pregnancies. He also was indicted on charges including 139 counts of rape and 177 counts of kidnapping.
Attorneys for Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight say they have "confidence and faith" in the prosecutor's office and its decisions.
Castro's attorneys have said he would plead not guilty to any indictment. Castro will be arraigned on the charges next week.
