DAYTON-- Dozens of University of Dayton students are helping to raise awareness for sex trafficking victims.
"This is a huge issue and it happens so often in Ohio people don't realize that this is something that happens in Dayton, in our city," said UD junior Erin Peery.
They're making personalized artwork for those living at Gracehaven, a home for female trafficking victims in Dublin.
Around the world, 12.3 million people are being trafficked. In Ohio, nearly 50 percent of victims are under 18 years old.
