WPAFB to Hold Readiness Exercise This Week

DAYTON-- A traffic headache at Wright Patterson Air Force Base may last all week.

When base employees head to work this week, they may see long delays. These traffic problems will not just affect base employees, whenever we see a delay at the base gates, it usually will spill onto I-675.  This is all because the base is holding their quarterly readiness exercise.
   
Security will be heightened around the base as crews participate in a variety of scenarios, from hazardous material spills to active shooter training. So, you should leave early to prepare for long line at the gates.

Most likely, the commuters will cause a big back up on I-675 at WPAFB gate 22B exit ramp and at the Colonel Glenn gate 22 exit ramp.
