XENIA -- A man recently released from jail is suspected in a Monday evening carjacking at the Xenia Walmart.
Joshua Hart, 32, of Moraine is accused of pushing one of two women to the ground while they were trying to leave the Walmart parking lot. Hart reportedly fled in the car and an off-duty Waynesville police officer followed him until he lost sight of the vehicle on Factory Road in Beavercreek.
Police say they identified Hart using store surveillance video and are looking for him and the stolen car.
The car contained the women's purses, cell phones and items they had just purchased at Walmart.
Police say the suspect had been in the Greene County Jail after being arrested for thefts Saturday at the Sugarcreek Township Walmart Store.
Hart is wanted on charges of Robbery, Grand Theft of Motor Vehicle, Theft and Theft of Drugs. If anyone knows his whereabouts, please call Xenia Police Division at 937-372-9901.
