KETTERING -- It's been less than a month since a Tipp City college student died after a house fire.
Awesome Yogurt in Kettering opened their doors on Sunday for a fundraiser for the family of 20-year-old Ellen Garner.
Garner died January 14, 2013, two weeks after a fire near the University of Cincinnati campus.
"She was amazing, she was so full of life, full of spirit, full of love and full of faith," said Garner's cousin, Tiffany Zimmerman.
On Sunday 20% of all the sales went to Garner's family to help pay for those medical expenses.
"As a business owner, I just feel like I have an opportunity to give back. It really ends up being a win - win situation for everyone," said Awesome Yogurt Owner, Naomi Fogel.
Zimmerman says the family is taking life day by day and holding on to their faith to get by.
