DAYTON -- A man at Dayton motorcycle club on Sunday said he was attacked by a man with a machete and 15-20 other "outlaw" motorcycle club members.

Police said they received a call at 1:48 a.m. Sunday about a fight at the Toros Motorcycle Club on West Third Street. Before police arrived, however, someone called police again to request the call be canceled because the club had everything under control.

Police responded anyway.

As officers approached the club on West Third Street they said they saw three women helping a man walk across Third Street.

Police discovered the man, identified as Dylon M. Lauderdale, 33, was bleeding profusely. He told them he was just standing with a female friend near the bar in the club when a man identified as "Black" in a Sin City Motorcycle Club vest bumped into him. An argued ensued and Lauderdale told police "Black" left. Lauderdale said "Black" returned with 15-20 Sin City club members. Out of nowhere, Lauderdale said, he was attacked, struck twice in the head with a machete. The other Sin City members joined in the fight, Lauderdale told police, and he began to fight for his life.

According to police, the Sin City Motorcycle Club is from Cincinnati and has deemed themselves a new outlaw motorcycle club.

Police said witnesses told them "Black" had been brandishing the machete in the club for most of the night before the attack.

Police said Lauderdale refused to be transported to the hospital by friends or the ambulance. An officer eventually persuaded him into her cruiser to be taken to Miami Valley Hospital. Doctors determined his injuries were not life-threatening, although he sustained a skull fracture that required multiple staples and stitches in his head.
