DAYTON--A colorful event is bringing in millions to our community.
Winter Guard International is staging the Color Guard World Championships at University of Dayton Arena.
Eleven thousand kids will perform over the next two weekends.
Many of them come from overseas countries as far as the Netherlands and Japan.
"Most people can't understand how much work these kids put into it. They rehearse at least twelve hours a week, so it's some unbelievable dedication." said Director of Operations for Winter Guard International Bart Woodley
The color guards compete this weekend and next weekend.
The event is estimated to bring $15 million to Montgomery County.
