DAYTON -- Dayton police are searching for a man who they say walked into an unattended pawn shop on East Third Street and began helping himself to items.
The owner had gone across the street to another business, but ran back when he saw the crook loading up his car with TV's and other stuff.
When the owner confronted the would be thief, he threatened them with a knife. The owner then backed off and called police, while the thief took off. He remains on the loose and officers are still trying to track him down.
