UNDATED -- Just when we thought we were getting a break, gas prices are going back up.
The national average for a gallon of regular gas is at $3.57. The average right now in Dayton is $3.68.
Experts say the spike is due to the unrest in Egypt threatening Mideast shipments of crude, leading to a run up in prices. Also, falling supplies in the U.S. are said to be driving up wholesale costs.
Prices are expected to climb another 15 cents or more over the next two weeks.
